It's not Christmas until you've swapped and sipped.. and that we did this weekend!
I have been looking forward to swapping yummies (ahem.. and sipping yummies..) for months. I love any excuse to hang out with my girlfriends.. but I was especially excited considering that our time together has been so minimal this year.
Please look at all that sugary goodness.. mmm!!
The cookies were so, so good. These girls can do some serious baking!
As we talked, we reflected on all that has taken place since last year's swap. It's crazy to compare each of our lives to what they looked like this time last year. Since last year's swap, there have been 2 engagements, 2 marriages, and 2 babies.. and there are 2 more little ones on the way (apparently baking isn't the only thing these girls are good at.. ). Though life has changed for each of us, I am so thankful that we remain close and that the Lord continues to sew our hearts together. I love, love these girls.. I can't wait to swap cookies with them when I'm 80!
